	Authorities of the IACML approve Work Plan 2018-2020 Authorities of the XX Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML), who met on April 26 and 27 in Washington D.C, approved the Work Plan 2018-2020 to fulfill the mandates of the IACML in Bridgetown.
	XX Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML) The XX IACML, convened by the Organization of American States (OAS), brought together Ministers, representatives of workers, employers and international organizations in Bridgetown, Barbados on December 7 and 8 to discuss and take decisions on hemispheric priorities and actions to be undertaken on matters of labor and employment.
	RIAL Workshop on Labor Migration This workshop is part of the activities of the Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML) of the OAS, which in its XIX reunion held in Cancun, Mexico in December 2015, had as one of its priority themes labor migration and the need to advance on the protection of rights of migrant workers.
	Meeting of labor authorities culminates with approval of XX IACML Agenda The Second Meeting of the Working Groups of the XIX IACML took place on April 27 and 28, 2017 in Asuncion, Paraguay. The First Preparatory Meeting of the XX IACML also took place on April 28.
	RIAL selects five proposals for bilateral cooperation As a result of the Tenth Call for Proposals of the RIAL, a total of 41 were presented, and 5 bilateral cooperation proposals were selected to be held between June and December 2017.
	Intersectoral Workshop on Youth Employment: Coordination between Education and Labor This workshop, which was co-organized by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Government of Brazil, through its Ministries of Education and Labor, analyzed initiatives coordinated by both sectors to improve youth employment.
	More information on Jamaica-U.S cooperation During the last week of September, two bilateral cooperation activities of the RIAL took place. A delegation from Grenada traveled to Jamaica to learn from their experience with the Labor Market Information System, and a delegation from Jamaica travelled to Washington D.C from October 17th to the 21st to participate in the last cooperation activity of this year. 	Celebrating 10 years of the RIAL! The RIAL is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a publication that highlights its greatest achievements, among them, 90 bilateral cooperation activities, 20 hemispheric workshops and more than 1,000 public servants trained.
