Labor Market Information System

 
The Bilateral Cooperation Activity between the Ministries of Labour and Social Welfare of Guatemala and Chile on Labor Market Information System was selected in the framework of the 19th Call of the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration (RIAL) of the Organization of American States (OAS) in April 2026, to be carried out virtually.
 
Objectives:
 
General objective: To strengthen the technical and institutional capacities of the Ministry for the effective implementation of the Labor Market Information System (SIMEL, by its acronym in Spanish), through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and good practices from countries that have already developed and institutionalized this system.
