Alternative Dispute Resolution in Labor Matters

Two officials from Costa Rica’s Ministry of Labor received training on conflict management techniques, communications strategies, and negotiations, and learned about the operations of the SECLO.
 
During this activity, it was emphasized that strengthening labor conciliation in Costa Rica was a national concern of workers, employers, and the state.  To that end, the Ministry of Labor invited its Argentine counterpart to conduct a seminar on this subject, with participation by said three parties.  Costa Rica’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security has also begun a process to add to the personnel now carrying out individual and collective management conciliation work.
