The purpose of the Youth Building the Future Program is to provide job training opportunities to young people between the ages of 18 and 29, who are neither studying nor working.
To achieve this purpose, the Program grants the following support in a comprehensive manner:
I. Training. Continuous teaching-learning process, transmission of knowledge and development of skills and/or competencies, for a maximum period of 12 (twelve) months and for a single occasion, which is carried out with the participation and supervision of a Tutor, directly in a Work Center and/or in its Branches, and that is oriented to allow the Participants to acquire or reinforce their work experience and work habits.
II. Economic support. Scholarship that is awarded directly and without intermediaries to the Beneficiaries without any distinction, up to 12 (twelve) issues, the amount of which is equivalent (for the year 2023) to $6,310 pesos (six thousand three hundred and ten pesos 00/100 M.N.). The economic support is delivered equally in the federal entities of the country.
III. Health insurance. Benefits in kind granted by sickness, maternity, and work risk insurance to the Beneficiaries of the Program.
At the time of its creation, the Program set a goal of 2.3. million beneficiaries, which was reached in the year 2022.
The Youth Building the Future Program focuses on a model of social co-responsibility between the public, private and social sectors, aimed at offering young people a space, support and structured activities to acquire work experience, develop or strengthen work habits and skills that promote social inclusion and contribute to their labor insertion.
